I am happy to be your first point of contact in the MBA office. Since I received my undergraduate degree at CSUSB, I am familiar with the campus, its resources and processes. I can help you schedule appointments, find the correct paperwork, or direct you to further resources.

As the Graduate Student Mentor, I’m here to assist you with your Bootcamps and Graduate Assistantships.
Bootcamps: Upon being enrolled in classes for our MBA program I will enroll you in our Bootcamp courses,
they are located in the Blackboard Student Success Portal.

I am here to assist you with any questions that you may have while working your way through the boot camps.
Graduate Assistantships: Quarterly I will send out invitations to all MBA students, via the MBA list serve,
announcing the next recruitment of GA applications. If you are interested in becoming a graduate assistant
I am here to answer any questions that you may have and guide you through the steps from application to starting your position.

MBA Student Ambassadors


Sarthak Arora
MBA Candidate, Student Ambassador
Marketing and Cyber Security dual focus
Sarthak is currently dual focusing in Marketing and Cyber Security and has a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from his home country of India.
He currently works as the Marketing Manager for the Center of Global Management in the Jack H. Brown College.
Sarthak is very involved with all the activities and study abroad classes that CGM hosts.
In his free time, he enjoys acting and would love to be in a movie.

Naveena Bellam
MBA Candidate, Student Ambassador
Business Intelligence and Information Systems focus
Naveena is an international student from India. She graduated with her Bachelors in Science degree from CSUSB majoring in Computer Science.
This is her last year in the MBA program, she will be graduating in Spring of 2019 with her MBA in Business Intelligence and Information Systems.
Naveena works on campus with housing as a Hall Coordinator and is the Board of Director International Student representative for ASI.
This is the perfect position for her since she loves to meet and talk to new people from a diverse background.

Jose Carreno
MBA Candidate, Student Ambassador
Business Intelligence and Information Technology & Management dual focus
Jose is currently dual focusing in Business Intelligence and Management and has two B. A.s in Graphic Design and Marketing from CSUSB.
Jose is currently working as a Resident Advisor and Student Coordinator for CSUSB’s Department of Housing and Residential Education and as an instructor for multiple IST 101 lab classes;
previously serving as an Instructional Student Assistant for the Mathematics Department and Peer Adviser for the Department of Advising and Academic Services.
He has collaborated with the Office of Student Research and Graduate Studies on multiple marketing campaigns. Jose is from the San Bernardino area and enjoys working in video production during his free time.

Yomara Donis
MBA Candidate, Student Ambassador
Cyber Security and Management dual focus
Yomara is currently dual focusing in Cyber Security and Management and has a B.A. from CSUSB in Human Resource Management.
She has previously held positions in the SHRM club and is certified in security +.
Yomara is a recipient of the Scholarship for Service, the ASI Board of Directors Graduate Student representative, and the Director of Outreach for the SWiCS club.
In her free time, Yomara likes to volunteer for different student groups and cyber-related clubs.

Jackie Padilla
MBA Candidate, MBA Office Graduate Assistant, and Student Ambassador
Management focus
Jackie received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from CSUSB and is pursuing her MBA with a focus in Management.
She currently works with the MBA team to continuously improve the student experience and promote student engagement.
Jackie loves to volunteer and engage in student club opportunities.

Karesh (Quang) Phan
MBA Candidate, MBA Office Graduate Assistant and Student Ambassador
Finance and Marketing dual focus
Karesh has his Bachelor's degree in International Economic Relationship and is fluent in 4 languages.
He works closely with three Faculty members as well as the MBA office engaging in research, website redesign and social media marketing.
Karesh was a recipient of the MBA Leadership award for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Along with his academics, he enjoys soccer, chess, playing guitar and singing.

Jaime Segovia, MPA
MBA Candidate, Student Ambassador
Management focus
Jamie Segovia is currently focusing in Management and has received three B.A.’s in Criminal Justice, Political Science and English Literature.
She has also received her Master in Public Administration from CSUSB.
Jaime is working for a nonprofit organization as a developmental analyst.
She is responsible for the creation, coordination, and analysis of custom reports summarizing her organization's financial data.
In her free time, Jaime likes to read, play the drums and the banjo.

Christopher Villa
MBA Candidate, Student Ambassador
Professional MBA Program
Christopher is currently enrolled in the Professional MBA program and will be graduating in Spring of 2019.
He graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from CSUSB in 2018.
Christopher is currently employed at a pharmaceutical company in quality assurance management.
In his free time, Christopher enjoys music, previously playing in a band, and brewing beer.
