The Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) prepares students for leadership in public service. Our mission is to offer a high quality education in public administration founded on public service values; especially diversity, inclusiveness and democratic governance. The MPA at CSUSB is offered through both on campus and online classes. All classes are offered each year in both formats so students can choose the method that fits their life and learning style.The Comprehensive Exam must be taken on the San Bernardino campus.

We provide students with a generalist public administration education, including tools for decision-making, an understanding of the democratic system of governance in the United States, and a capacity to work ethically and professionally in the public interest. The program is open to all students, regardless of undergraduate major. We are proud of our recent (2017) reaccreditation from NASPAA and the fact that we are the only NASPAA accredited MPA program in the Inland Empire. View our
