Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) CSUSB Chapter

CSUSB SHRM, is an affiliate to Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). We offer networking, professional development, and career opportunities for CSUSB graduate students, alumni and faculty. Our program includes panel discussions and workshops, social events, job and internship postings, leadership roles, and resume-building experiences.We invite you to join a collective network of students and faculty, who are involved in the world’s largest HR membership organization devoted to human resource management. We have been a functional student chapter for more than four academic years at CSUSB. Our goal is to help prepare you for a career in human resource management or any management-related field.

Why Join SHRM?

SHRM prepares students in Management and Human Resource professions. Members are encouraged to attend events throughout the Inland Empire. Networking opportunities with SHRM have led to students being able to receive job placements within (or related to) the HR profession.

How To Join?

1.) Enroll in National SHRM (SHRM.org) and pay your student membership which is currently (2024) at $49/annually.
2.) Identify Inland Empire SHRM as your sponsor chapter.
3.) Become a member of the professional chapter of Inland Empire SHRM by enrolling at the website (ieshrm.org). There is no membership fee.  
4.) Email your name, coyote ID to shrm.club.csusb@gmail.com 

Semester dues are $25 for club operations. Dues are payable in cash, receipt given. Contact the faculty advisor – Professor Flaherty JB-233 for assistance.
